Opera High Specialization Master Class (for Singers and Conductors)
Bruno Rigacci is one of the most representative musicians in the international musical world today. As a composer he has written chamber music, symphonies, concertos and five operas, winning many awards. He has also enjoyed a successful career as a conductor and specializes in the Operas of the 19th and 20th century. He has worked in some of the most important theaters and with some of the most prestigious singers all over the world. Everywhere, he receives unanimous praise and appreciation for his particular capacity to find and mold voices by directing them to the most effective repertoire. His successful criteria for selecting repertoire includes his attention to the interpretation of the music, to the interaction with the orchestra and to the pure vocal technique. Admissions: Though not required, it would be appreciated if students would submit a recording (tape, CD, CDROM, ect.) for use in the evaluation process. Initial Enrollment in the Master Class is limited to 8 students. If you are not admitted initially, you are still invited to attend the first day of class and then perform a live audition at the conclusion. An additional 2 students will be admitted to each section. A student who is not admitted to the Master Class can enroll as an auditor. For more information about this course please contact us. |
