The Accademia Europea di Firenze and its love for music, motivates it to recruit the best teachers in Florence, and create an environment appropriate for learning the instrument of your choice. Although the instrument course can be taken alone, other students usually have opted for combining the Italian language courses and the music courses and that's why we`ve created the Intensive Music Courses (Italian + Music).

The courses are designed for students who either wish to begin, better or perfect their playing of a musical instrument of choice (strings / windwoods / brass / percussion). AEF will provide an instructor for any instrument and any level. Here you can study violin, guitar, viola, cello, bass, harp, flute, oboe, double-bass, clarinet, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba and others.
Our collaborators and instructors are active musicians, both soloists and members of Florence's major music ensembles such as Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Orchestra Regionale Toscana.
Teaching on a one-to-one basis is definitely the most productive way of learning. The student can be from any level including beginner, elementary and advanced, since the classes are private, the teacher can focus on the needs and objectives of each student individually.
The music lessons at the Accademia Europea di Firenze will develop the fundamental skills that learners need in order to master their instrument of choice:
Instrumental Techniques, Music reading and Harmony & Theory
During the selected instrument's course students will remove the technical obstacles that hinder self expression through the instrument and ultimately enable students to deliver professional performances in a variety of situations. It focuses on two main areas: being physically able to play with the fluidity, deftness and ability of a seasoned performer, and arriving at that point through logical, structured practice.
The courses will also assist learners to develop the skills necessary to deal with the challenges of reading and notating music and to understand the fundamental principles of music with all of the knowledge that musicians need to effectively develop their creative and technical skills in their instruments.
